Bet you never thought of Las Vegas as the Mindful Break-free town. Palms Casino & Resort's new theme is Dust to Gold where they are breaking free of the old and embracing the new. Little by little, this is what we must do as well to break free of the negativity in our life. Embracing Mindfulness Education can be done throughout your stay during this enchanted escape.

Beginning with the check-in process you will immediately be enthralled by the tranquil WISH YOU WERE HERE entrance. Taking time to be Mindful of the artwork carefully placed throughout the resort is key to being in the present moment. Palms has created an opulence that is unparalleled and unique in its ability to present an abundance of creativity including artwork by Adam Parker Smith’s installation PALMS, Olivia Steele and Keegan Gibbs’ collaboration of front desk décor, and The Unknown Bar, in the center of the casino, by artist Damien Hirst.

Mindful eating begins at SCOTCH 80 Prime restaurant, home to Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake. What is important here is enjoying a spectacular tableside presentation of Mesquite Fired Crustacean Tower. Take in the aroma of the arrangement of Maine lobster, New Bedford sea scallops, Alaskan king crab, Steamed New England Little Neck Clams and Mexican shrimp topped with scampi butter, makes for a remarkable display of fire highlights and gourmet feasting.
A must have finish comprises a Tableside Fire & Ice Banana Split dessert with hand-turned vanilla bean ice cream, caramelized bananas, and magical, fun toppings.

Mindfulness can also encapsulate fine spirits. Cody Fredrickson, Master of Scotch, will guide beginners and experts through your extravagant dining experience by pairing it with some of the most notable Scotch available which includes Auchentoshan 12-year Scotch; Blandnoch 15-year Scotch, and Littlemill 1991 a 23 Year–Gordon & Macphail. Enjoying the fragrance of something different is a great way to break-free of your regular Aperitifs.

There is no better place to be Mindful than the APEX Social Club. Located on the picturesque 55th floor, is an 8,000-square-foot-space that lends itself to a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of the iconic Las Vegas strip. As the sun sets, the outdoor patio transforms into an alfresco social club. Being mindful in this one-of-a-kind, breathtaking setting is definitely a Mindfulness way to ease tension, soothe the mind, and just be.

Palms Place Pool is the place to be after a night of dining and decadence. Located on the 6th floor, Palms Place Pool is your gateway to rest and relaxation. A 50,000-square-foot oasis complete with stellar cabanas and on-water lily pads provide guests with plush sofas for a chance to escape to a world of revitalizing relaxation. This adult pool offers contemporary design with spa-inspired elements including stone gardens, a Jacuzzi, a stone fireplace, tropical flowers, and Zen inspired waterfalls. Mindful spots like this are hard to find in Las Vegas and that is why the Palms Place Pool is perfect for that peaceful, tranquility we need to break free of toxicity in our lives.

One of the highlights of the Dust to Gold renovation is the Fantasy Tower. Here at the Palms Resort & Casino this is truly a chance to escape from reality. You'll experience both the superior guestrooms and some of the sprawling accommodations in the Luxe Collection like the Hot Pink Suite, Kingpin Suite, Hardwood Suite, Sky Villas and other playgrounds of themed luxury.

For a more affordable experience, the Ivory Tower is the way to go. It is in close proximity to the VIP Lounge, Scotch 80 Prime, and newly renovated restaurants. You can spend a Mindful weekend at the Palms without having to leave the spectacular grounds. When thinking of your next trip to just get away, book your venture at Palms Resort & Casino as your Dust to Gold experience.
